Here's the full photo from yesterday's clue: On we go to the next clue...can you guess what and where this is? It's time for another Centre City Advent Calendar clue. All month long (and we'll keep going until December 31st), we've been posting a portion of a photo taken from different areas in Calgary's Centre City (by the way, if you need to check the parameters, click here). The following day, we post the photo in its entirety, along with what it is and also the location - and then of course the new partial photo as well. Our focus is primarily on art, architecture, monuments and interesting displays. Make sure you leave us a comment if you think you can guess what the partial photos are of. The prize if you guess correctly? Some well-deserved, albeit smug self-satisfaction, of course!
Radley77, you got it (again!). The portion of the photo we used was actually the back of the guy in the middle of this picture...we thought about about using one of their bum cheeks as a clue but figured that would make it too easy. So yes, this is the Armengol Statues at the CBE building on 1st Street SE. And if you're looking for some more interesting information about how the sculptures came to be, you can listen to an interview on the subject from CBC calgary's radio archives here.

Windmill at Eau Claire
(I'm looking forward to tomorrow's explanation because I've never seen it turning, and with the tail going off at that goofy angle it doesn't even seem to point into the wind)
