(Calgary Tower all lit up - photo from www.visitcalgary.com)
If you've been looking for an excuse to go for a late night bike ride or walk along one of our many pedestrian-friendly paths or bridges in our Centre City, this may well be it: tonight the Calgary Tower will be lit up in all its glory to help mark the 95th anniversary of the Battle at Vimy Ridge. You can see the flame on top of the Tower between 8:30 - 9:30 pm tonight.
Flags will also be at half mast at Calgary City Hall and the Municipal Buildling.
